“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

DNYT present William Shakespeare's most mischievous and magical play A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Lysander loves Hermia. Hermia loves Lysander. Helena loves Demetrius. Demetrius loves Hermia although he once loved Helena. On a Midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest and at the mercy of the trouble- making sprite, Puck. Whilst elsewhere, Oberon and Titania, the King and Queen of the Fairies, are having their own battle of love.

Set in a time of social distancing, conspiracy theorists and key workers, real and magical worlds collide, mischief and mayhem erupt, and love at first sight proves true for some but makes an ass out of others.
