Meet Ryan.

19 (but young for his age).
School drop-out (but smart).
Turkey sandwich enthusiast (365 days a year).
Absolute stunner (no addendum).

He's new in town, and all he wants to do is check out. The hard part is coming up with an exit plan.

When the one person he thought he could rely on ups and leaves, Ryan finds himself adrift in a city he still hasn’t learned to like, looking for direction. Six months to kill, no money, no rules… surely this is the worst possible time to be alone?

Following the success of its first rehearsed reading at The Nutshell in November 2023, we are thrilled to welcome back award-winning writer Edmund Morris’ latest play The Grim for a preview show ahead of its run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Hilarious, horrifying, and high octane, this event is not to be missed.

Tickets are on sale now, and all proceeds will go towards covering the show’s production costs ahead of its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer.

So grab a ticket, grab a drink (or two!) from our in-house bar, and get ready for an evening of explosive theatre.
